Tottenham vs Ajax: Spurs fans convinced injured Harry Kane will play Champions League semi-final TONIGHT as club post image of his kit
Tottenham supporters are starting to believe Harry Kane will play in their Champions League semi-final against Ajax this evening – and it’s all because of the Dutch club.Kane, the England forward, is currently sidelined with an ankle injury suffered during the quarter-final first leg defeat of Manchester City earlier this month.Kane has already missed five matches since injuring the ligaments in his left anklegetty6

He missed the second leg clash at the Etihad which booked Spurs’ place in the last four, and Mauricio Pochettino, the Tottenham manager, confirmed earlier this week the 25-year-old will be ruled out both legs of their semi-final against Ajax. However, Spurs fans now believe Pochettino’s comments were a ruse with Kane actually FIT to play this evening’s first leg!A picture shared by the official Ajax Twitter account counting down to the match showed off both teams’ match kits… and eagle-eyed supporters noticed the Tottenham image included the No 10 kit – worn by Kane.

Now, one thing must be taken into consideration before jumping to any conclusions. There are clearly tags visible on the No 10 kit, implying this is an outfit taken from the club shop for a promo shoot rather than any proof of a shock team selection by Pochettino.Nonetheless, Spurs fans could not help but get excited by the picture.
