The goal was another major milestone in the 25-year-old’s career as he netted his 24th European goal – a new club record.He beats the achievement of Jermain Defoe who only beat Martin Chivers’ back in 2014 when he was on his way out of White Hart Lane as their rotational striker.Defoe hit seven goals in five Europa League games with his penultimate goal for the club, against FC Sheriff, earning him top spot ahead of legendary forward Chivers.Now, though, Kane is ahead of both and seems likely to create a record which will be hard to beat for the many strikers to come in the future.So who are Tottenham’s elite European goalscoring heroes?
